Theatre Production - The Bacchae
Directed by Marvin George from the School of Drama at the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts. The Bacchae was a wonderful production to shoot, filled with cultural references and some distinct visual aesthetics. Performed on April 16th 2016 with students from the School of Drama, a photography shoot was arranged allowing for some of the images to be staged from scenes in the play (this was done predominately to avoid interrupting a live production for any sitting audience).
The final two images in this series are examples of posters done for the production, these involve the cast and some painting done by the director and the crew in keeping with the style of the performance. The images were edited by myself as well with all elements of text and manipulation added as to the requests of the School of Drama department.
