Convincing a colleague to wear a bowtie
Recently I managed to convince a colleague in my department here in Jamaica to wear one of my bow-ties for a shoot. I have a small collection, gathered from my time spent working for Charles Trywhitt in London and I wanted to try them out in a shoot. Being somewhat camera shy myself at times (and lacking a haircut for a fair few months) I asked him to sit in.
A piece of purple cartridge paper was sued as a background, with a single flashgun aimed from behind the model. The remaining lighting comes from a couple of strobes which are tied to the flashgun mounted onto the horseshoe mount on my camera. Some post production work has been done to remove the crushes in the shirt as well as some additional retouching in general.
